PLSC & HRMDS
Livelihood Intervention Program
PLSC, in partnership with HRMDS, is implementing a livelihood intervention program for internally displaced persons in Borno state, Nigeria. The initiative is sponsored by NNPC-SNEPCo Joint ventures and aims to uplift the lives of the Internally Displaced People in the region.
The objective of the partnership is to empower 2150 vulnerable women, youth, and some men by providing them with the necessary skills, business and financial knowledge, as well as start-up kits to initiate and successfully manage viable businesses.
We also aim to offer essential human resources and infrastructure for identifying the needs of the people and executing programs that addresses the most crucial livelihood requirements of IDPs and vulnerable households in Jere and Mafa Communities of Borno State. This will result in a significant boost to the economy of these selected communities and an overall improvement in livelihood conditions.
